Learning that can be heard in the recitation

Finding a qualified female instructor who teaches rigorous Tajweed alongside melodic vocal placement was impossible locally. My instructor provided a deeply respectful, focused environment. My breath control doubled and my Surah Ar-Rahman recitation is unrecognizable.

My 9-year-old son used to find Qur’an class exhausting. The instructors supervised by Ustaad Muneeb took an entirely different approach: patient, structured, and interactive. Zayd’s Makharij are clear now, and he eagerly sits for his 30-minute lesson every day.

Before joining Ustaad Muneeb, I was imitating recordings without understanding pitch movement or melodic transitions. Through Visual Melodic Mapping, I learned to see the melody before reciting. In just 8 weeks, I led Maghrib prayers in Maqam Bayati with complete poise.
